The Wisdom of Nature

Dr. Angi’s 8th Law of Self-Empowerment

Infinite wisdom can be found in Mother Nature. ~ Dr. Angi

At times, Mother Nature may appear angry and vengeful with all her tumultuous weather patterns in the summer; but, after every violent storm, there is a glorious calm and cleanliness. Seeds are dispersed in the winds, the vegetation is watered and nourished, and animals bathe and play in the puddles. The temperature drops to a more pleasant and comfortable level for everyone. Life goes on. This is just a teeny part of the wisdom Mother Nature bestows upon us.

By closely, mindfully, and consistently observing Mother Nature and all her creatures, we can learn her wisdom. For example, the humble message of snails and turtles is to take your time. Slow and steady wins the race. Rabbits and deer, in their own way, convey to us to stay still and be alert when predators are lurking, and, to run as fast as you can when in peril. They also remind us to eat our vegetables and greens.

So, you may want to think about going outdoors to wander around and allow yourself to be open and aware to the wisdom of our natural world. Be curious and mindful as you gently stroll in the midst of the outdoors. Vigilantly observe your immediate environment. What do you “see”? What unassuming and inconspicuous messages are you receiving? Infinite wisdom can be found in Mother Nature!

Also, Mother Nature has so much to share. We are approaching the best time of the year to view the popular Perseid meteor shower; and in 2018, they’ll be the best shower of the year. During the Perseids’ peak this month, spectators should see about 60-70 meteors per hour. The meteor shower’s peak will be visible both the nights of Aug. 11-12 and Aug. 12-13.
