An Adventurous Outing
A poem by Dr. Angi (Dr. Angela K. Orobko)

An adventurous outing is an angel’s delight,
Carried away with the dandelion, she is out of sight.
As she watches a mermaid bronze in the sun.
This angel is conspiring with the fairies to have some fun.
Whisk away like a dog on the broomstick, she eats n’ drinks with merry.
Doing a mad September moon dance into moonlit February.
As March springs ahead into the August sultry heat.
The daring angel soars into the clouds for a retreat.
An adventurous outing is this angel’s delight,
Among the frolicking dandelions, out of sight,
She is blissful, morning, noon, and night.

Pleasures of a Poet
A poem by Dr. Angi (Dr. Angela K. Orobko)

It feels like a sin
To play with words, again
I find myself in wicked delight
Every time I get to write
I hone into my intuition
And bring into fruition
My thoughts, ideas, and dreams
Messages, stories, plots, and schemes
I am dancing in my imagination
Words pour out in fascination
Expressing, connecting, reflecting
And sometimes even resurrecting
Past projects that just missed the mark
Dusting it off and igniting a spark
My heart beats hard and fast
With every line I cast
Exhilaratingly stimulating
As my head starts spinning
My spirit begins to soar
This will never ever be a bore
Creative writing is my passion
And it will always be in fashion
Because it stems from my heart
As my second love next to art.

Capture Every Moment
A poem by Dr. Angi (Dr. Angela K. Orobko)

To make a giggle
Give your body a wiggle.
To make a laugh
Make an obvious gaffe.
To make a smile
Visit nature for a while.
To make a dance
Listen to the music genre – trance.

Capture every moment.
Capture each and every day.
Express it in art and writing.
And, forever it will stay.

To make a memory last
Savor time, don’t go fast.
To make a problem go away
Look at it in a different way.
To make a story great
Experience life, don’t hesitate.

Capture every moment.
Capture each and every day.
Express it in art and writing.
And, forever it will stay.
