There are no mistakes or failures, only opportunities for growth; mistakes are our best teachers! ~ Dr. Angi
Babies are notorious for their ability to learn from their mistakes and seemingly without fear. The youngest of us practice this bit of acumen daily, as they learn to crawl, walk, talk, and poop on their own. Yes, they may have their “accidents”, but it is part of their learning process. And, it is a part of our learning process, too. We simply forgot this growth mindset as we become “fixed” in what we think we can and cannot do.
It is important to give ourselves permission to make mistakes in order to learn and grow. Do not ponder the boo-boo and be in a funk or feel sorry for yourself. Failure only occurs when you stop trying.
Examine the mistake, change your action, and move forward. Learn from it. Grow from the experience. All these steps are part of our education process. Blunders, bloopers, slip-ups, oversights, lapses, faux pas, muddles, errors, gaffes…all of these are great ways to grow, develop, and evolve.
There are no mistakes or failures, only opportunities for growth; mistakes are our best teachers!
