- Smile more.
- Be mindful of everything you say and do.
- Choose joy in your routine (as you shower/bather, brush your teeth, eat, etc.).
- Express gratitude.
- Positively acknowledge others.
- Pray or meditate everyday.
- Just take a moment and breathe whenever you can.
- Engage in meaningful conversations and attentively listen.
- Put more pep into your step (exercise; bonus points if you do it outdoors).
- Drink more water (and infuse it cucumber, berries, citrus fruits, fresh mint, etc.).
- Listen to your favorite tunes whenever you can; music can be uplifting.
- Play more; tap into your inner child.
- Do something creative or colorful (doodle, write, color, craft, bake).
- Perform an act of kindness.
- Honor your dream…visualize it…or better yet, take action.
- Remind yourself how wonderful you are…never too late for affirmations.
