Authenticity is the state of being genuinely you; but, suppose you are unclear on who you are. A good place to start is in front of a mirror. Declare, “I am…[insert your name],” followed by positive affirmations that you know are true about yourself like: “I am clever; I am open to new ideas; I am a good friend; I am…” Allow the list to grow; and, then write each of these on notes you can stick all over the place to remind you of all the wonderful things you are. Soon you will step into yourself with confidence.
